Accounting, Financial Reporting & Regulatory Oversight
Client Delivery & Relationship Management
Leadership
- Act as the technical accounting lead for the Financial Services Team, advising on IFRS, GAAP, statutory and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Provide technical guidance on complex transactions and lead the resolution of accounting, audit and reporting matters with clients, auditors and other stakeholders.
- Monitor regulatory and industry developments and support the implementation of required changes.
- Develop accounting policies, controls, processes and practical solutions to address technical accounting, regulatory and operational issues.
Client Delivery & Relationship Management
- Oversee the delivery of accounting, reporting, audit, tax and transaction-related services for a portfolio of financial services clients and SPVs across multiple asset classes.
- Ensure all client and regulatory deadlines are met and service standards maintained.
- Act as a senior point of contact for clients and key stakeholders, building strong and trusted relationships.
- Support business development initiatives and identify opportunities to enhance client service offerings.
Leadership
- Lead, mentor and develop members of the Financial Services Team, supporting performance, training and career development.
- Oversee resource planning, work allocation and the onboarding of new clients and team members.
- Drive continuous improvement in processes, controls and service delivery.
- Contribute to the strategic development and growth of the Financial Services business.
Requirements
- Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Relevant experience within financial services, structured finance, securitisation, aircraft leasing, corporate administration or a Big 4 environment.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, including IFRS, GAAP and statutory reporting.
- Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements and managing audit processes.
- Proven client relationship and stakeholder management experience.
- Previous people management or team leadership experience.
- Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
